I couldn’t use it in my older house.
But that’s not the units fault.

I bought this product in October of 2009. I have three installed: 1 for the front outside lights, 1 for the lamppost, and 1 for the outside garage lights. The challenge is having all of the lights come on at the same time. If you synchronize all of the timers to a single clock you’ll find that after time they “walk” slightly in either direction. I have not touched them in the last 30 days and between the three timers they may be 3-5 seconds apart. Not sure how that happens with a digital (as opposed to analog) display but that is the case here. They are relatively easy to install and set. Several programs make them flexible if you want them to come on at different times on different days.

Need a timer for the lights in front of the house. Found this timer and give it a try. The setup is pretty quick, just follow the instruction provided from the package. It works as what I need, on and off at destinated time. The only thing I will love to see is LED backlite on the LCD screen. The LCD is hard to read in the upright angle, I need to band down a little to see the screen letters… back lite should help.
