I did an “LED rope” search in Amazon and this came back at #1. It is not LED, it is incandescent, but I bought it not fully reading the description, which is my fault. It is a 50 ft. conventional light rope, commercial-grade. Very bright, very white light, but NOT LED. Seems to be a good product, but I will be sending it back due to the search engine confusion. Apparently Amazon’s sponsored links at the bottom of the page mentioned LED and that causes the Amazon search to show this product. Amazon needs to modify its search to just reference THEIR listed products and not induce confusion this way.

I used it as above cabinet lighting in my kitchen. I just laid it on top of the cabinet, they’re great for accent lighting and don’t get hot.

I was looking for an alternative to a small lamp for a small room. I found this light string and decided to try it. It is quite bright, and sturdy, and doesnt get too warm even left on a long time. It was quick to ship here, and arrived undamaged. It would be better if it had an on/off switch somewhere, since you can only turn it on and off by unpluggin it, otherwise I m quite pleased with it.

I purchased these rope lights to provide “mood lighting” above the crown moulding on top of three kitchen cabinets. I can tell you these are of industrial quality, as the bulbs are housed in a thick platic tube with sealed “O”-ring endcaps -obviously waterproof for outdoor use. Good quality cord and plug as well. I put them all on a dimmer and provided the soft glow my wife and I were looking for. The arrived quickly, were well packaged, and included mounting clips and harware. To top it all off, what a great price for such outstanding quality!

The lights appear to be a quality product, with heavy duty plastic and power cords. Stringing them together was very easy. Have them installed outdoors hanging up around the patio for soft light and they do very well.
